Time to bring you up to date

I have been told that all the millions of people that read my blog, really like it. I have also been told that the first few blogs that referred to the effects the truck had on me and the comparison to a washing machine were the best. So, I will strive to keep this lighthearted with a little humor thrown in. I am in Oklahoma City now taking a well deserved rest. I will get rolling again in 34 hours. Got to keep the DOT happy! I had problems with my Quail-com and had it worked on here. Now I don't have any excuses. Big Brother is watching my every move. That can be both good and bad, if you know what I mean.
Speaking of Big Brother, tomorrow is the long awaited vote day. Everyone get out there and put the first black man in the oval office! My personal opinion is that he is the best candidate for the office. I hope I have not offended any of my many readers out there. If I have, maybe you need offending. The thought of Sarah Palin being one step away from the Presidency scares the hell out of me! Now that I've fallen off my soap-box, I'll get some supper and will continue this tomorrow. I might even put a picture or two on the blog.
Remember... truckers care!

Have a good rest...guess you hit the time limit without a break, in order to get one....since they are not working on your truck!!!
I will not be standing in line to vote. There is no way that I could stand in line for over four hours in line. Heard one poll worker told they were to be there at 6. Polls open at 7 and they told them if lucky they might get out by 11:30PM but to expect 12:30 and no meals are provided for them. Only 5 working that precint(sp) so they cannot take breaks.YUK!!!!
I got smart and voted absentee. All I had to do is make a call, say I was disable. They sent me an application and all I had to do is sign it. Then they sent me a ballot, filled it out, ammendments and all and mailed it back in. Man, I wanted to vote so bad but knew that I could not stand in line. Friends are going to stand in line at 5:30 AM with Masters stools and coffee prepared for the long wait!!! For the last two weeks the lines to vote absentee have been anywhere from 1(weeks ago) to 4 hours and they even brought in more machines. We don't have early voting here in SC like a lot of states do...but it is real easy to qualify for absentee status. The line today was over 4 hours long. I love the mail!!!!!
For once in a long time, we actually agree on our votes this year!!!! And partly for the same reason!!!! TTYST ST=sometime)
