Mt Helen or Helana or Rainer???? One spewed lava a few years back shortly before I got there!!!Flew back on an almost empty big plane and the pilot gave us a talking tour of what we were passing over...and he said on your right is Mt Helen(or what ever...of course we all moved over to the right to see it...had seen it every day when we drove to golf course also!! He also showed us what weightlessness felt like by dropping quickly to a lower altitude...really scarey!!! You are so right about the trees in WA and OR!!!!! I DO love that part of the country except for the rain. Do you remember that Jerry Foster and Gibby live out it that area????
Glad you are in a motel with connection to internet..so we can stay in touch for a few days. Sorry it is delaying your time to come home though!!!! Have a feeling that We will be yakking a lot in next dew days!!!!
